Our seedlings are cared for with love and therefore we only use Organic & Non-GMO seeds and our baby plants are never treated with synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.

 

Seedlings are grown in volcanic rockwool cubes 1.5in x 1.5in and are ready for a Tower Garden but can also be planted in any other aeroponic or hydroponic system or soil.

 

Seedlings inventory updates every Tuesday afternoon.

 

Seedlings ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only. We ship with UPS 2nd Day Air.

Orders placed on Monday or Tuesday by 12:00 pm EST will be shipped on that day.

Orders placed after 12:00 pm on Tuesday will ship the following Monday.

Kohlrabi

  • Kohlrabi - Highly nutritious vegetable, also known as German turnip is a cruciferous vegetable. Despite its name, kohlrabi is not a root vegetable and does not belong to the turnip family. Instead, it belongs to the Brassica genus of plants and is related to cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. It has a long leafy stem and round bulb that's usually purple or green, and white on the inside. Kohlrabi's taste and texture are similar to those of broccoli stems and cabbage, although it is much sweeter. The bulb is widely eaten raw or used in salads and soups but can also be roasted or sauted. Its leaves and stems are slightly crunchy and cook similarly to collard greens. Kohlrabi is an excellent source of nutrients.
